BTL Student Outreach Program

Broadway Theatre League strives to maintain a level of excellence in everything we do, and none more so than with our Student Outreach Program. Our Outreach programming is specifically geared towards celebrating the young mind and bringing theatre to a younger audience that includes an educational component. These professional touring productions will take students and on an entertaining, educational and culturally diverse trip that is sure to please!  We believe the theatre, and more specifically, live theatre can open up a child’s mind to a world of performance, choreography, music, drama, and culture, possibly all at one time and in one sitting. We believe we can make a difference in a child’s life.

Most of our Student Outreach Shows include free shows for Schools/Homeschool Groups during the school day and a free family performance in the evening!

Performances for Schools/ Homeschool Groups

There are usually two performances for schools – one at 9:30am and one at 12:30pm. We ask that all homeschool groups attend the 12:30 performance only.  The Student Outreach program is free of charge to schools. We ask that you have a student to adult ratio of 10:1 or better. Our goal is to fill our concert hall with the maximum number of students possible!

If you are a teacher, principal, school rep or with a homeschool group and are interested in knowing more or signing up to attend, please visit our Information for Schools Page.

Free Family/ Community Performances

Free Family/ Community Performances are typically at 6:30pm or 7pm. You will be able to get your free tickets by calling us at BTL or coming to the box office on the night of the performance and picking up free tickets. These performances are a great opportunity for families to attend and experience live theatre together – all for free!

Other Opportunities

We also are thrilled to be able to sometimes offer unique opportunities for students to attend a theatre workshop at BTL on a show weekend that sometimes includes sessions with cast members from the national touring Broadway productions!
