The Show Can’t Go On Without You!

Broadway Theatre League has the best volunteers! We rely heavily on our volunteers each season and we are so thankful to each and every volunteer.

Each season volunteers donate hundreds of hours which helps BTL keep prices low for our ticket buyers!

BTL Ushers assist with a variety of tasks, from directing patrons to their seats, providing information about the venue, ticket scanning, welcoming guests, and much more. We ask that BTL Ushers reflect the high standards of Broadway Theatre League at all times and be welcoming and courteous for each show.

All BTL Ushers are trained each year. You must attend the training each year to be eligible to be an Usher for each season. Training is mandatory and usually conducted several weeks before the start of a season (typically in the fall). 

Our Usher List for the 2021-2022 Season is now complete and training took place in August 2021. If you are interested in being a BTL Usher for the 2022-2023 season, please fill out the form below and we will add you to the email list and let you know about the training dates for the 2022-2023 season. You will receive an email and several reminders when usher training dates are announced. 

We do not have volunteer opportunities related to working directly with the touring shows.
