The Show Can’t Go On Without You!

Broadway Theatre League has the best volunteers! We rely heavily on our volunteers each season and we are so thankful to each and every volunteer.

Each season volunteers donate hundreds of hours which helps BTL keep prices low for our ticket buyers!

BTL Ushers assist with a variety of tasks, from directing patrons to their seats, providing information about the venue, ticket scanning, welcoming guests, and much more. We ask that BTL Ushers reflect the high standards of Broadway Theatre League at all times and be welcoming and courteous for each show.

All BTL Ushers are trained each year. You must attend the training each year to be eligible to be an Usher for each season.

Training has concluded for the 2024-2025 season.  Please fill out the form below to be added to the list for the 2025-2026 season. Training will take place in August 2025. There will be two sessions, and you MUST attend ONE of the training sessions to be eligible to usher during the season. The sessions will take place in the Mark C Smith Concert Hall at the VBC and typically take place at 6:00pm.

Training is mandatory in order to be included on the usher list.

We do not have volunteer opportunities related to working directly with the touring shows.
